What we collect
When you visit catalyft.co.uk we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site. This collects anonymised data including:
- Pages you visit and time spent on each
- Approximate location (country and city level only)
- Device type, browser, and operating system
- How you arrived at the site (direct, search, referral)
IP addresses are anonymised before storage. We do not collect any personally identifiable information via analytics.
When you submit an enquiry via our contact form, we collect the information you provide – typically your name, email address, company, and message. This is used only to respond to your enquiry.
How we use it
Analytics data helps us understand what's working on the site and improve it over time. Enquiry data helps us respond to you and understand whether we can help. We do not sell your data, share it with third parties beyond the processors listed below, or use it for advertising.
Data processors we use
- Google Analytics – site analytics. Data held in line with Google's privacy policy.
- Typeform – contact form submissions. Data held in line with Typeform's privacy policy.
- Cloudflare – hosting and DNS. Data held in line with Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Each processor has their own privacy terms. We only share the minimum data needed for each to provide their service.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish unique visitors and understand how they move through the site. These are anonymous and expire after 14 months. You can:
- Disable cookies in your browser settings
- Opt out of Google Analytics tracking via Google's opt-out browser add-on
- Use a browser with built-in tracker blocking (Safari, Firefox, Brave)
We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict how we process your data
- Request your data in a portable format
- Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you feel we've mishandled your data

Data retention
Analytics data is retained for 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted. Enquiry data is retained for as long as we have an active working relationship or commercial conversation, and deleted within 12 months of the last meaningful contact – whichever is later. If you ask us to delete your data, we'll do so within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy we'll change the "last updated" date at the top of the page. Material changes will be flagged clearly. We'd recommend checking back from time to time if you've previously submitted enquiries or corresponded with us.
